Kolkata's humidity is a constant variable for us here, and Salt Lake in particular gets significant waterlogging during the monsoon because the area sits on reclaimed wetland, so we always think carefully about waterproofing details, drainage slopes in wet areas, and material choices that can handle seasonal moisture without warping or staining. Daylight in the cooperative blocks can be tricky too, since many units share party walls on two or three sides, which means we work quite hard on interior light routing and finish choices. Society NOC requirements and HIDCO guidelines also come into the picture early so there are no surprises mid-project.
