What we plan for
Kolkata's humidity is the first thing we account for, especially in a freshly plastered flat where the walls need time to breathe before any wall treatment goes on. The monsoon matters here too because Action Area II still has patches of waterlogging in certain pockets, so we are careful about flooring choices at the entry and about electrical layout on lower floors.
