Kolkata's humidity is not abstract for us, it is something we design around on every project, so material choices here lean toward what actually holds up through a monsoon season and not just what photographs well. Natural light in Ballygunge flats can be surprisingly inconsistent depending on the block orientation and how close neighbouring buildings sit, so we map daylight before we commit to any palette.
