- Owner declaration on intended occupancy for every floor
- Site photographs of the plot in its current condition
- Power of attorney or consent letters where the plot has multiple co-owners
The drawing set for a fire routed file is heavier than a plain residential submission, and this is where most owners underestimate the work. One practical note on the fire services layout, it has to be drawn by somebody who understands both the design and the servicing, because it is the drawing where the architectural intent and the plumbing and electrical reality either agree or collide. The plot and use assessment is where we settle occupancy per floor, measure the site, check the abutting road situation and confirm what documentation exists and what is stale. What Actually Causes Rejection or Delay in Exactly This Scenario

The occupancy issue is the one owners create for themselves. Somebody sanctions a purely residential building because that route is simpler, and then converts the ground floor to a shop or a chamber two years later, and now the building's fire compliance no longer matches its actual use, which becomes a real problem at completion, at resale and at any point where the property is scrutinised. How Our Studio Runs a Fire NOC Coordinated File
Our working method on these is deliberately front loaded, which feels slower for the first three weeks and then is dramatically faster for the next four months. Before we draw anything we do a plot and paper audit, we measure the site ourselves rather than trusting the deed dimensions alone, we pull the ownership, mutation and tax position, and we ask the owner the uncomfortable question about what every floor will really be used for in five years.
